Breast Cancer Awareness: Getting Involved

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, many organizations will continue to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. In the Lincoln, Nebraska area, many people are doing what they can to contribute to the cause. A good way to get more involved would be to participate in the variety of things that will be going on.  A few events going on are posted below, but please stay posted for more events as information becomes available.

-Order a “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Awareness” long sleeved tee before October 12th to show your support this month. https://www.facebook.com/MSABC.Lincoln

-Join the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Organization when they host a free event with featured speaker: Sarah Frederick, fabulous fashion event sponsored by Chicos, and delicious refreshments will be available to enjoy. -Participate in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” 5K event to celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness, and to receive more information about breast cancer risks. Proceeds will go the American Cancer Society to fund research. Event will be held on October 26th at Holmes Lake Park.
