You Know It’s Spring at UNH When…

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

It actually looks like people go to school here

Even though the winter months can be nice, no one is ever outside here at UNH. Even during the normal class passing times, there is never that many people outside and enjoying the fresh air. Once the weather is a little nicer, people don’t sprint to class to avoid the cold anymore.

T-Hall Lawn is the hot spot

This is the best spot to hang out on a warm day. You will see groups of people here all day long. Playing games, reading, listening to music, and so much more happens any day that the weather is nice enough.

You will start to see green again.

Grass! Oh, how we missed the grass SO much! That snow was super fun for about a day until it turned to brown mush for the rest of the winter.

It’s extremely difficult to get any homework done

On a nice spring day, do you want to be inside writing that paper? No! It’s a huge challenge to actually get that homework done on a nice day at UNH.

No more parka jackets!

Goodbye winter coat and snow boots. Hello flip flops and tank tops!

Dogs, dogs, and more dogs…

If you have a dog at school, odds are you are going to bring them out and about on a nice spring day! Everyone needs a little more dog in their life, so seeing these beautiful puppies all day long brings so many smiles to everyone’s faces.

Everyone is smiling :)

Seasonal depression is very real at a school like UNH and once we have one nice weather day, everyone’s faces light up and smile so much more!
