UNH Fall Concert: Slightly Stoopid

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

UNH’s Student Committee On Popular Entertainment, commingly known as SCOPE, brings around two shows per year to UNH for the studentbody to enjoy. These concerts provide a night of great music, a fun atmosphere, and something different for students to do on the weekends. In years past there have been artists like Eli Young Band, Avicii, Kendrick Lamar and Nelly. This years fall concert was reggae band Slightly Stoopid with rapper Shwayze as the opener. Didn’t get the chance to go? Or, just want to relive this night over again? Take a look at these pictures!

Junior, Amanda Barba and Co-Social Media Chair for UH Her Campus, got the chance to be on the Press for the night at the concert thanks to her awesome internship at UNH Social Team!

Amanda and sophomore, Abby Martinen, both with VIP Passes for the night, before the concert started.

Rapper, Shwayze, performing before Slightly Stoopid came on for the night. He was so great to watch and had a great energy that the crowd really responded well to!

Slightly Stoopid – the headliner for the night doing their thing on stage. The lighting at the show was really cool and well done. It really added to the atmosphere of the evening!

Here is a shot from the top of the Whittemore Arena – the floor was packed and the lighting, again, proved to be awesome for the night. The crowd was having a great time, and it seemed like Slightly Stoopid was too!

Amanda and Abby were lucky enough to get a picture with Shwayze while listening to Slightly Stoopid!

Overall the night was a really different atmosphere than UNH students are used to for SCOPE concerts but it was well recieved by concert goers and a success! Well done, SCOPE! What are you guys looking forward to for the Spring concert? Any artists you are hoping for in particular? Whoever it is, we’re sure it will be just as great if not better than the Fall show.
