Oh my, oh my! I hope you guys are excited about this colder weather as I am! This cooler weather brings a certain cheer into our hearts (at least to mine anyway), and with that cheer comes Holiday festivities that we have been waiting on ALL year. Living so close to Boston, it would be a shame if you didn’t participate in at least one of the following holiday activities.

Grab some friends and family and stop by the two biggest lighted Christmas trees in Boston, located in the Boston Commons and at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The Faneuil Hall Marketplace not only has wondrous decorations, but they also offer their annual Blink! Light show, running every hour through January 1st. Gaze upon the beautiful sights, sip on some hot coco, and take plenty of cute Instagram worthy pictures!

If you would rather be engulfed by true Boston Christmas magic, attend one of the many Christmas tree lightings happening in late November and early December and take in the sweet, exact moments where the holiday lights bring an end to the winter darkness. At many of these special events, you can find refreshments, music, good cheer, and even Santa if you’re lucky.

Attend a show! The Boston Holiday Pops Concert is one for the books, highly recommend especially if you have never seen them before, you are in for a special treat! Other great shows you won’t want to miss include: The Nutcracker by the Boston Ballet, Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and Disney on Ice!

Shopping!!! Easily one of my favorite parts of this giving season. Walking through Boston’s pop-up Holiday Market in Downtown Crossings brings an indescribable joy to your heart, even though it’s freezing outside, being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of hundreds of other Christmas shoppers is riveting. Other exciting shopping locations in Boston during the Christmas season include: Charles Street in Beacon Hill, Harvard Square, the Prudential Center, and Newbury Street. Grab some good company, warm clothing, and prepare to spend hours asking yourself: to buy, or not to buy?

Take these suggestions and make some new holiday traditions and memories to last a lifetime!
