Love her or hate her, there’s no denying Kylie Jenner is making big money with her Lip Kit collection. Jenner has been taking notes from her entrepreneur big sis, Kim Kardashian West, as she starts her own cosmetic line while banking on her own assets–the social media star’s coveted lips.
The Kylie Jenner Lip Kits first launched in November, featuring three shades–Candy K, Dolce K, and True Brown K. After an astonishingly successful launch, the lip kits were restocked about once to twice a month following the initial launch. Other shades such as Mary Jo K, Koko K, Posie K, and 22 have also been released alongside the original three shades during restocks.
Each kit is sold for $29–they included a matte liquid lipstick AND matching lip liner! Every makeup lover can recognize that $29 for a lipstick and lipliner is a bit of a steal. Not only is the price reasonable but the formula is ridiculously amazing! My problem with most matte liquid lipsticks is how incredibly drying they are to my lips, but Kylie really did us all a solid with her formula. The formula of intense pigment and moisturing ingredients are liquid lipsticks’ Holy Grail.
To most of our demise, every single restock has sold out within minutes. If you’re not constantly posted on Twitter, Instagram, or Kylie’s Snapchat, it’s very easy to miss restock dates. Through some tough research and constant swatching, I’ve found similar shades with similar formulas that are not drying!
