If you live in North Carolina and you’ve never been to the State Fair, you are truly missing out! I’ve come up with a list of all the reasons you must venture down to Raleigh, NC and get your fair on!
The Food
If you know anything about me, you know how much I enjoy eating all types of yummy food. At the fair, there are endless amounts of treats that range from fried Oreos, doughnut burgers, funnel cakes to kettle corn and turkey legs. You are guaranteed to leave the fair with a full tummy and a happy heart!
The Rides
I have always loved going to amusement parks and riding all of the rides they had so being able to do that at the fair and for only $10 is a bargain!
The Music
Who doesn’t love live music? At the state fair they have music playing throughout the few weeks it’s up and running. They play genres such as Country, Bluegrass, Hip Hop, Jazz and more!
The Shows
The fair has a hay-load of shows that they put on for the entertainment of the crowd. These are always super fun and sometimes informational!
The Games
Although it can sometimes be hard to win a prize at the state fair, it’s all fun and games until you spend all your money trying to win a cute stuffed animal. Regardless of how the games turn out, they are still super fun!
The best reason to go the fair is that it starts off the best season of them all, FALL!
