What year are you? What is your major?

I am a Senior majoring in Art with a concentration in Photography. I would love to become a photojournalist!

Where are you from? Why did you choose UNCG?

I was born and raised in Milford Connecticut, and came to Oak Ridge, North Carolina when I was 13. I choose UNCG because it’s close to home and also my brother had been going here and loved it.

What advice do you have for freshmen in your major? Freshmen in general?

Being an art major you really need to know time management. You need to put a lot of hours in your work to get a good grade. Also get to know your professors. You are going to have them possibly more than once, and they will always be willing to review your work.

For freshman in general honestly go to class, you will do so much better if you don’t skip class.

What do you want to do after graduation?

After I graduate I want to work with a local newspaper. I want to photograph and write articles.

What is a typical day like for you?

A typical day for Jeff is class and work or on my days off hanging out with friends having a good time, or eating.

What has been the best part of your time at UNCG so far?

Just all the friendships and people I have met. They have made my college experience truly amazing.

I’m sure many Spartans recognize you as one of the wonderful cashiers in the EUC Food Court. What are the benefits to working on campus?

Yeah a lot of people recognize me!! Working on campus is so great. The coworkers are amazing, and just seeing people smile makes me happy. I honestly love talking to the customers when I get a chance and I made a couple friends from doing so.

What is your favorite place to eat on campus?

My favorite place to eat on campus is totes Taco Bell. I love me a chicken quesadilla, and my Doritos locos tacos.

Any regrets?

My biggest regret in college is not putting my 100% potential in my classes. I could have done a lot better in the classes I felt like I didn’t need to take, but had to fit requirements. It hurt my GPA a bit.

I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am double-majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Women's and Gender Studies. I love my university and the diversity on campus is important to me.
