The First Week of College Classes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNCG chapter.

We all know that the first week of classes can be exciting and a bummer all at the same time. We are ready to get back into a schedule and to get another semester under our belts but not quite so ready for homework and waking up early. To help get you through, here is how my first week goes, as told by gifs.

Day 1: First day of the semester and I am ready to get this 4.0! Nothing can stop me, not even the underlying urge to procrastinate. If only someone could figure out how I can keep this attitude going until May…

Day 2: The second day of classes means I am still motivated to make a good impression and get a little fancy. I get up in time to do my hair, wear a nice outfit and maybe even put some makeup on!

Day 3: Going back to MWF classes means trying to remember where you sat last time. Sure there isn’t a seating chart, but I am not trying to make any enemies on the second day of class. Who knows when you might need a study buddy.

Day 4: Is it Spring Break yet? Cause I’m over this. Already have a paper due, my first quiz next week and I can slowly feel the darkness that surrounds the first round of exams creeping up.

Day 5: It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for a couple days off to relax and catch up on sleep…or maybe to have fun and catch up with the friends you haven’t seen since last year. Either way, no need to worry about class until Sunday night.

With the first classes down and the work about to begin, I wish you all the best. Have a wonderful semester Spartans!

I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am double-majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Women's and Gender Studies. I love my university and the diversity on campus is important to me.
