Hometown: Helena MT

Age: 19

Major: French/Secondary Education    Minor: Math

Favorite thing about UM:  The community of friends that I had made through campus groups and I feel like anyone can belong to and be involved in the University even if they aren’t taking classes on campus or off.

Long Term Goals:  I have many long term goals but the ones that hold closest to my heart are to expand God’s Kingdom as much as possible by showing His unconditional love for everyone and to have a husband and children.

Favorite Childhood Memory:   My favorite childhood memory is when my parents were still married.  My brother and I were very young and thought it was the coolest thing to ride in the bed of a truck. So on the way into town, my dad would let us jump in the back of the truck on the dirt roads and blare the country music. I remember that we would always play “My Maria” by Brooks and Dunn.

What are you looking forward in the next year:  In a year from now I will be studying abroad in France so what I look forward to till then is seeing how everything will come together to get to France. In coming together I mean in finances, applications, gaining courage, and just trusting in God that He will provide for me.

One goal you hope to accomplish before you graduate:  This one goal is to be fluent in French. (The whole point in going to school.)

I am majoring in Native American Studies with a minor in English. I hope to return to reservations in Washington and Montana to improve education and give the desire to strive for a better life. I enjoy writing (Fiction), reading, hiking, and the ocassional couple hours of Pinterest! :)
