Meet UK Campus Cutie Drew Teague!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UK chapter.

Name:  William “Drew” Teague
Hometown: Louisville
Graduation Year: 2013
Major: Political Science and Journalism
Future plans: Law school then hopefully I will be a prosecuting attorney.

Favorite thing about UK: The basketball atmosphere! Campus is electric after every win, especially home games since Coach Cal has not lost here yet. March, come SEC and NCAA Tournament time, has the campus pumped and on edge, expecting the boys to bring back some nets and hardware!

Relationship Status: Single
Best pick up line: If you were a Dementor, I’d become a criminal just to get your kiss.

Hobbies/Interests: I am interested in the Latin language. I’m in my fourth semester of the language and think it is a great language to learn, because of how helpful it is to understanding English as well.

Biggest Fear: Not being at UK when they get a national championship.

Favorite movie:  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1
Favorite TV show:  24
Favorite color: UK Blue!

Fun fact: I try to get/do something special for myself for my birthday:  I went skydiving for my 19th birthday and got my first piercing for my 20th.
Life motto: Vir sapit qui pauca loquiturà (It is a wise man who speaks little.)

Sports / Hobbies: Intermural for Beta Theta Pi: Inter-tube water polo, softball, wiffleball.
Superstitions: Putting up the one finger at a basketball game before the free throw shooter has the ball.

Tell us your favorite thing about being an RA: My favorite thing about being an RA would have to be the interaction with a diverse group of people that all live in one area. It is very nice to be able to live and work in the same area and with such a great group of co-workers who are very supportive of each other.

Tell us about Greek Sing:  I was Princess Peach in the Mario song of Beta Theta Pi’s Greek Sing Performance.  We spent about two and a half weeks practicing with each other and getting help from the UK Dance Team members with our moves.  It was very interesting walking around Memorial Coliseum in a pink puffy dress, but was worth it when we came out and had a great performance and helped Chi O and Phi Delta raise $130,000 for Make A Wish Foundation along with all the other great performances from everyone else!
