What are some of your interests or hobbies? Spending time with family and friends, running, football, basketball, hunting, a day at Keeneland or Churchill Downs with a beautiful lady and just about anything else imaginable.

Who are some of your biggest role models? My two role models in my life are by far my mother and my father. My mother has been there for me my entire life and is somebody that I will always be able to count on. She’s taught me the importance of compassion, honesty and kindness. My father has always been more of the big brother that I’ve never had. I played football with him in the backyard, video games in the basement and even make jokes with him. And while doing all of this he’s still managed to show me the importance of discipline, hard-work and family. They’ve shaped me to be who I am today and there is no possible way I could ever repay them.

How did you get people to vote for you? I just linked the survey on my Facebook and hoped for the best. I have great friends and family though, so I knew they would to help out however they could.

Are you excited to be part of the nationwide contest to compete for the title of Mr. Freshman? I am completely excited to even be considered as Mr. Freshman of all college campuses, just winningMr. UK was a shock. And the possibility to win the overall Mr. Freshman is just incredible.

Do you think you have a chance of winning? I would sincerely love to win Mr. Freshman, but I’m not too sure of my actual chances. I consider just being in the running an accomplishment in itself and winning it all would be incredible. And honestly, I want to thank everyone for just giving me a shot in winning this title.
