I’ve gone from Lakeview to Tri Traylor to Downtown, tasting many sweet confections from the most noted bakeries in Chicago. It was a delicious few weeks because I was able to try the best cupcakes anyone could imagine. I’d like to share my favorites that you can treat yourself to anytime you have a sweet tooth. ENJOY!
Magnolia Bakery
Best Texture-
This cupcake is deliciously crispy and fluffy at the same time. It tastes
like it is fresh out of the oven and topped with a pillowing frosting.
Flirty Cupcakes
Prettiest-
This is by far the cutest cupcake I have ever seen and I believe it would
make a wonderful treat for a friend or special occasion. I learned that these
cupcakes are filled with a sweet gooey center!
Molly’s Cupcakes
Best All Around-
Honestly just look at that beautiful cupcake goodness. It is the largest on the
list and contains so many sweet flavors like butterscotch and molten chocolate.
Sugar Bliss
Richest Chocolate-
This is the thickest cupcake with the most delicious chocolate. It almost tasted
like a brownie. You definatly need a glass of milk with this confection.
Sprinkles
Best Frosting-
Sprinkles is probably one of the most well known backeries in America.
No wonder, the frosting is the fluffiest without being overbearings. Its the
perfect ying and yang of cake and frosting.
