For those of you who haven’t heard of St. Baldrick’s, it is a volunteer-based charity that centers on raising money to find a cure for childhood cancer. Those who donate money, and commit themselves to the charity, come out to events and shave their head to encourage donors to provide more for the great cause.
This year, if you are brave enough to shave your head, the event takes place on Thursday, February 23, at 501 E UICH UIC Hospital. And if you don’t’ wish to actually shave your head, come support those who do! And if you’re willing, bring a few extra dollars to become a donor yourself! Come support bright and early, 8 A.M., to show your support to finding a cure to children’s cancer!
