1. Binge Watching Netflix
No matter what my schedule was like during the summer, I had time for my baby Netflix. But now, I can only find the time of day for it during the weekends! How am I supposed to binge watch a full season in less than 3 hours of my day!? More importantly can the next season of “Stranger Things” come out?
2. Sleeping In
First and foremost, what was I thinking picking 9 AM classes when I knew I would be a commuter this year? Life was the best when I could wake up at ten, stay in bed for a few hours then start my day. But we don’t have that luxury anymore, do we students-of-the-early-morning?
3. No Homework
Life was easy when I didn’t come home from work with twelve assignments due. I just want to be that girl who does her weekly assignments two weeks before it is due. Can someone please write an article with some advice on how I can become that person?
4. Late Night Chicago Adventures
Yeah, yeah…I could do this now but its not the same. Nothing beats random adventures to the beach, Insomnia Cookies, or The Bean. The warm summer breeze of carelessness in the air. Now if I go on an adventure, I am looking at my planner waiting for my next Discussion to be due.
5. No Stress
Just in general, every student’s life is easier in the summer. But with school being back now, I might be stressed, but I know this is the right path to be one. Yep, first article of the school year has to have some cliché parts to it, so I said it! So every person out there reading this, we are in this together. Lets buckle down, and get ready to take this school year head on!
