Copycat: Starbucks Strawberry n Crème Frappuccino

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

Feeling Frappuccino? Are you a strawberry lover? If you are, you will definitely love this one, I promise. I love this recipe for its simplicity, and the best part is that you can add whatever you have on hand and adjust the sweetness to your preference. After a long day of class, I love indulging in a drink like this.

*serves 2

Ingredients:

5 frozen strawberries

½ cup of fresh or defrosted strawberries

condensed milk

3 tbsp of vanilla ice cream

1 cup of milk

1/3 cup of ice

Directions:

1.    Place all the ingredients in a blender. Depending on your preference of sweetness, add about 3-4 tbsp of condensed milk (this will make the drink milky and delicious).

2.    Pour the content into a nice mug, garnish with whip cream, and you just made yourself a yummy treat!

Note: if you have strawberry syrup or sauce on hand, this will work perfectly with this recipe for a deeper strawberry flavor.
