6 Lipsticks That Won’t Transfer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UIC chapter.

I love wearing lipsticks. I love having different colored lips everyday of the week. I love matching the color to my tops, shoes, and eyeshadow of that day. But when I go about my day, which includes eating, drinking coffee, and talking with friends, classmates, and coworkers, I notice that many of my lipsticks end up disappearing only to leave a spotty lip. Well, I’ve been on the search for lipsticks that stay on all day, through my many cups of coffee and conversation.

1. Beauty Bakerie’s Lip Whips ($20)

This is number one for a reason. I swear by this brand. And Beyonce wears it. Like all good lipsticks, it comes with a cost. It can be extremely drying so you have to make sure to exfoliate your lips and provide a generous amount of chapstick.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills’s Liquid Lipstick ($20)

These are very similar to Beauty Bakerie’s Lip Whips. They do require some exfoliation and moisturization beforehand but they will last all day.

3. Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick ($20)

These lipsticks aren’t quite as drying as the previous but you should still apply chapstick beforehand. If you are torn between the similar brands and prices, these lipsticks come in unique and vibrant colors.

4. Sephora’s Cream Lip Stain ($14)

Cream lipsticks tend to be more moisturizing than liquid lipsticks. This is a great option for on-the-go and affordability.

5. Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ($24)

These are super pigmented and come in a wide array of everyday colors.

6. Revlon’s Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick ($8)

This is the most affordable option on the list and is well worth the money. It is long lasting and non drying. You may need a few coats to get the color payoff you’d like.
