5 Must-Haves in Your Fall Wardrobe

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UGA chapter.

Fall is here! The leaves are changing to all those pretty yellows and oranges. The days are no longer blazing hot, and the nights are growing colder. It’s finally time to break out your winter wardrobe (which includes all my favorite items to wear). Here are five staples that make up most of my outfits during the winter season.

1. Vests

A cute staple that you can either dress up with a plaid shirt or dress down with a long sleeve t-shirt and still stay warm on those cold mornings walking to class!

2. Ankle Booties

I love these because they are a chic way to make you look a little taller without having to freeze your butt off!

3. Sweaters, Sweaters, Sweaters

I like to layer light sweaters like these with a t-shirt or a long sleeve t-shirt, that way if you get hot, you can easily take it off!

4. Infinity Scarves & Blanket Scarves

Blanket scarves are so comfortable and huge! True to their name, they are basically a blanket that you wear on your neck. I also like infinity scarves because you don’t have to worry about how to tie them on correctly.

5. Anything Sherpa

Not only is this material extremely comfortable and soft, it is also very warm and will keep you from having to wear 10 layers of clothing!

Go forth and shop friends! I hope you will find these style staples in your wardrobe also!
