Where is your outfit from? “My blouse is from Topshop, my skirt is from Brandy Melville, and my sandals are from Steve Madden. As for my jewelry, my necklace is from J.Crew, and my watch is from Guess.”
What do you look for when it comes to fashion? “I look for trends and patterns. I’m also a huge fan of pastel colors during the spring and summer. I usually purchase items that are versatile — pieces that I can wear to dress up or to wear casually.”
Who are your favorite designers? “I don’t really have any particular fashion designers in mind. I honestly put value on the quality and design of the clothing first. However, for this season, I have been liking Tory Burch for her sophisticated yet feminine feel.”
Where do you like to shop? “I’m a firm believer of dressing nicely without breaking the bank. I shop at Topshop, Guess, Juicy Couture, J.Crew, American Eagle, American Apparel, BCBGeneration, Pacsun and the list goes on. Tip: Great bargains are available at T. J. Maxx, Marshalls and other clothing department stores.”
What are your favorite trends right now? “I am so glad that the fringe and lace looks are making a comeback. Clothing with these additional touches instantly makes me think of spring and summer. Plus, I feel like girls appear effortlessly chic with fringe and/or lace details! And as I mentioned earlier, pastel colors are starting to consume my closet.”
What are you currently obsessing about in your closet? “Due to the extremely hot, sticky weather in Gainesville, I have been reaching for loose and flowy tank tops like the one I’m wearing today. I then pair it with shorts or a skirt depending on the day. I usually get away with wearing prominent necklaces to tie the simple look together. So, jewelry is a must. My go-to spring looks include crop tops, floral lace trimmed shorts and sandals.”
