On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: the best tasting, most yummy cookies.With the holidays in full swing, the season of sweets and treats is upon us. There’s no stronger staple in every kitchen during the festive celebrations than the Christmas cookie. Here are the 12 irresistible Christmas cookies for you to devour this holiday season.

Peppermint SnickerdoodlesWith the taste of peppermint being a basic necessity during Christmas, there is no better place to put it than in your cookies. Instead of hanging them on your tree, crush them up and add them into this cinnamon creation. You can find the recipe here.
