Kaeng Raeng: An All Natural Detox

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

Here at Her Campus, we tested an amazing detox program just for you! Whether you’re looking for more energy or a natural glow, Kaeng Raeng offers fantastic natural products.

The beautiful ladies over at Kaeng Raeng were so sweet and sent me a one day detox supplements, an energy supplement, and a bod scrub. Here is what the sample box included:

1.      Blueberry Banana Natural supplement cleanse

2.      Mango Peach Pineapple Natural supplement cleanse

3.      Strawberry Raspberry Pineapple Natural supplement cleanse

4.      Daily Green Energy supplement

5.      Detoxfoliant All Natural body scrub

I tried the Kaeng Raeng Natural cleansing supplements and let me tell you, this stuff is seriously amazing! I honestly liked it so much. At first, just like the rest of you, I was really reluctant to detox because I just couldn’t give up food. The idea of giving up food for a day terrified me, but I survived and I know you will too!

I’ve tried other detox supplements, so I didn’t know whether to expect a sour taste or something completely nasty. But these supplements are delicious! They are just the right amount of sweet and taste just like regular fruit juice, which was so comforting. I first tried the Strawberry Raspberry Pineapple for breakfast and not only was it delicious but it was definitely fulfilling. If you’re like me and hardly have time to sit down and have a big breakfast then this is perfect! I just added it to my apple juice and I was set for the morning.

Each supplement packet contains the following:

  • 9g of fiber
  • 15g of pea protein
  • Daily vitamins
  • A full serving of real fruit
  • 2 billion live probiotic cultures

I love how you can add the supplement to just water or juice or your fave smoothie recipe. But don’t get me wrong, about 2 hours later after having the Mango Peach Pineapple for lunch, I was hungry. The great thing about this cleanse is that you can eat raw vegetables and fruits along the way so I didn’t get too hungry! You can also go to their website (here) to get a free E-book and get some cool snack ideas to get you through the day!

Still not convinced? Here’s some awesome information about Kaeng Raeng products:

  • Soy-free
  • Gluten free
  • Caffeine free
  • Made in California, from local farms!
  • Vegan friendly

The company also sells cosmetics, how cool is that?! Many detox supplement companies stick to just that, but Kaeng Raeng goes above and beyond to sell body scrubs, facial peels, etc.! The company was gracious enough to send me a 1 oz jar of their all natural body scrub and when I first used it, I honestly didn’t notice a difference but after a second and third time, I definitely felt a slight difference. My skin was a bit smoother and softer, so that was definitely a plus for me. What goes into your body is just as important as what goes on your body and KR has got you covered there as well!

All in all, I can honestly say that the cleansing supplements really were tasty and enjoyable. Even though I struggled to not eat foods and stick to the supplements and snack, I am very glad I did it.

I can honestly say I will continue to use these natural cleansing supplements for future detox diets to come and hopefully you will too! I recommend these products to anyone who is interested in detoxing for the first time or looking for a new company to switch to. Do it! It’s amazing!
