Here are some activities you could do to connect with your roommates. These activities will help you if you’re having trouble connecting with your roommates or you want your bond to be stronger.

Go to concerts together

College is filled with essays, drama and tests. One of the best ways to connect with your roommates is to take yourselves out of that environment and into a new environment where y’all are more relaxed.

See movies together

When you see movies with your roommates, you’ll be learning about what they’re interested in. When you learn more about their interests, you’ll be able to have a better connection with them.

Shopping!

Go shopping together for clothes, groceries or electronics. These activities will help you spend more time with your roommates and with more time spent together your relationship will grow stronger.

Hi, I'm Briahna and I'm a fourth year at UCSB; majoring in anthropology. I'll start with a quote "it's never been true, not anywhere at any time, that the value of a soul, of a human spirit, is dependent on a number on a scale"- Geneen Roth. Sometimes in this big wide world I do feel small but I am reminded by this quote that I am much more than anything that can be measured by a scale, a grade point average or society standards of what a woman should be. My value is dependent by the standards I set for myself.
