The Five Types of Girls You See during Festival Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

It’s that time of the year again — festival season! Let’s face it, we’ve all been culprits of being the festival cliché with our crop tops and flower crowns. For some reason listening to our favorite bands entails us as concertgoers to get a little too experimental with our fashion sense.

Here are five festival looks you’re bound to see this year:

1. The “I spent more money on this outfit than my ticket” look.

Urban Outfitters and Free People basically make their annual profits during this season.  Three hundred dollars for a romper? I’d rather wear a sack over my head and call it a day.

2. The “I probably should have stopped with just two flash tattoos” look.

This counts as boho chic, right?

3. The “If I could, I would probably shower with my flower crown” look.

If you’re not wearing a flower headband to Coachella, are you even going to Coachella?

4. The “This is probably really insulting” look.

Has donning a Native American headdress ever been okay? I mean I guess if you look cute enough…

5. The “This might be a fringe too far” look.

Inner thoughts: *If Vanessa Hudgens can pull this look off, I can too!*

Jokes aside — whatever your fashion faux pas is this year, as long as you strut out with confidence, you’re golden.
