This Friday, the annual Downtown Holiday Parade will be held on State Street. The parade starts just after dark at 6:30 pm. It’s one of the largest events held on State Street and it gets crowded quickly so make sure to get there early. Make a night of it and get dinner and go shopping downtown with your friends.

Besides the actual parade, there will be pictures with Santa Claus, street vendors selling hot chocolate and Santa hats to get everyone in the holiday mood. This year is the 60th Anniversary of the parade and the theme will be “A Diamond Holiday.”
