5 Ways to Prepare for The Bachelorette Premiere

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

The Bachelorette premieres this Monday and we hope you’re as excited as we are! In honor of this special night, here are some tips to prepare for the big event. Gather your girls, set up the TV (or laptop), and get ready for some hunky entertainment.

1. Break out the wine bottles, ladies

This is going to be one of the most dramatic premieres yet, so there will be plenty of yelling at the screen. A glass of wine (or two) will lube up ya throat and keep you dramatically cursing the producers all night long. If you’re not a drinker or you’re ~underage~, hot cocoa does the trick.

2. Bake up some goodies – just because

Is it truly girls’ night without a bounty of baked goods? Pop some double chocolate brownies into the oven or I GUESS you can buy a cheesecake at the store, but either way the party doesn’t start ’til food is in yo mouth. Plus if your fav goes home, you’re going to want something to cry into.

3. Get noise-cancelling headphones for your lame housemates

Some poor souls choose not to partake in the amazingness of The Bachelor world. They may not appreciate the fun times you’re having, but some heavy duty headphones will solve that problem right up.

4. Fully charge up that phone

Nothing better than a good live tweet sesh. A fully charged phone means updating all of your fans to the drama unfolding, as well as your ever-changing faves. Plus you can look up the guys during commercials for the down and dirty.

5. Keep your eyes closed the whole day before in preperation

The Bachelorette means SO MUCH eye candy. Guy after guy is going to come out of that limo lookin’ fine as hell. To better savor the beauty, just shut your eyes for the preceding 24 hours. When you open them again Monday at 9pm/8pm central time, they’ll be ready to fully enjoy the feast.
