5 Ways to Keep Yourself Busy During Spring Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

Whether you don’t have the energy to get dolled up and go out every day of spring break or you’re just looking for a laid-back break, Her Campus UCSB has you covered!

1. Binge Watch Your Favorite Show on Netflix

Let’s face it – all of your energy went into studying for finals. You deserve to reward yourself by catching up on our favorite show or rewatching your favorite Netflix show. You deserve it!

2. Movie Marathon

Whether you want to unwind, have some alone time, or host a girls night in, a movie marathon is a perfect way to waste time during the break.

3. Spring Cleaning

You’re probably thinking, “I just got done with finals, now you want me to clean?!”  But spring cleaning is an excellent way to spend your break. Clean out your room and sell whatever you don’t need or want.  Plus, you can use the extra space you have to rearrange your room!

4. Pick up a New Hobby

Now that you have some down time, do something you’ve been meaning to do.  Whether it’s finally getting to read a new book by your favorite author or starting to work out, now you have the down time to do it – so take advantage!

5. Vacation, Staycation, or Daycation!

Spring Break is the perfect time to travel and get wild! And if you don’t have the means to do so, go on a Staycation! Gather a few of your girlfriends and stay at a hotel in the area and lounge around the pool for an easy girls getaway weekend! A spa day by yourself or with a few of your close friends is just as fun too. How can anyone possibly turn down a Daycation during spring break?
