3 Ways to Take Your Outfit from Day to Night

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCSB chapter.

We all have some pieces in our closet that seem to either fit daytime or nighttime style. Here are three easy ways to style the latest trends, whether it’s running to class or going out for the night! With the right accessories, every outfit can transition from day to night.

Kimono Style Jacket

Day:

Long kimonos in bright, floral patterns are all the rage right now. Dress yours down with a simple tee, cuffed jeans, and strappy sandals.

Night:

Your kimono easily transitions to nighttime with ankle booties, a mini dress, and a statement necklace for extra flair.

Pajama Pants

Day:

Keep it casual with a cropped tee, neutral flats, and a flash tattoo for fun!

Night:

Up these pants’ potential with a strappy, sultry top and a pair of wedges.

Jersey Maxi Dress

Day:

A black maxi dress can be boring if not for floppy hats, cropped jackets, and a casual knot that shows off your booties.

Night:

The dress’ slit adds glamour as well as revealing a pair of colorful heels!
