Top 7 Looks From the Breaking The Chains Foundation Reception

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

This past weekend on October 16, many celebrities attended Breaking The Chains Foundation & Glitter Magazine First Annual Fall Reception. Breaking The Chains Foundation embraces an attitude of self-love as they encourage the arts such as dance, painting, music, and film to bring awareness to eating disorders.

Every celebrity and attendee present at the reception rocked some pretty rad styles, so let’s go down the list and see who you think was best dressed!

1.) Jillian Rose Reed

Jillian’s black and white blazer is paired perfectly with her ripped jeans.

Best known for staring in MTV’s Awkward and Disney’s Elena of Avalor, Jillian is the Celebrity Spokesperson for Breaking the Chains and even gave a speech at the event.

2.) Asia Monet Ray

Usually plaid only looks good on flannels but Asia’s dress is super cute and fits her dancer body perfectly.

3.) Carolyn Hennesy

Carolyn is looking absolutely stunning in this vibrant red and black ensemble.

Carolyn, a well-known soap star, is also Celebrity Ambassador for Breaking the Chains and will next be seen in the Gilmore Girls revival as one of Emily’s friends in the DAR.

4.) Renee Olstead

When you’re at a red carpet event, you can’t go wrong with Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Renee Olstead’s classic little black outfit with red lipstick.

5.)  Jacob Hopkins

This blue button-up with a matching tie makes Middle School Movie star Jacob look sharp and adorable!

This event was especially important for him since his mother is the founder of Breaking the Chains and he is apart of the Young Hollywood Campaign.

6.) Benjamin Stockham

This list wouldn’t be complete without the addition of Benjamin and we are loving his leather jacket! Benjamin is also apart of the Young Hollywood Campaign.

7.) Debra Hopkins, Founder of Breaking The Chains

This soft plum color was Debra’s choice for the night and she even matched it with coordinating jewelry and eyeshadow.
