Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya is a Thai princess. She attended UCLA in 1975 where she received her Masters in Public Health. In a true princess story, Rajakanya relinquished her royal title in order that she could marry her American husband. Rajakanya lived in San Diego with her three kids until 2001 when she decided to move back to Thailand. Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya has appeared in various films such as “Where The Miracle Happens” and “My Best Bodyguard”
Besides Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya UCLA is known for having notable alumni and faculty members. With 13 Nobel Laureates and 3 Pulitzer Prize winners. Among one of its current “royals” is Professor Terance Tao. Professor Tao earned his bachelor’s and master’s at the age of 16, a Ph.D at 20, and became a full professor at 20.
