With finals only two weeks away it is time to up our academic game and begin those study marathons. Avoiding all nighter cramming sessions, here are ways in order to prepare you to do your best on your final with a positive mind.

1. Set a time to study every night
Cramming everything into the last few days or night before your final can be a major headache! If you give yourself to learn a lecture or reading a day, you are surely to absorb more information!
2. Attend office hours
Office hours are extremely helpful if you need help on a class on a more personal level. Keep in mind that the professor or teaching assistant is not required to focus your time solely on you as there are other students in need of assistance. If possible, attend office hours as early as possible. Take notes and pay attention to other students’ questions, for you don’t want to be repetitive and their questions could also be beneficial to you.
3. Have study breaks
You do not want to overwork your brain so take 10 minutes out of every 30 minute study session and just relax. Eat a snack, lay on your bed, listen to some music, or do anything that wil help relieve your stress.
4. Study groups
What better way to study than with people in your same class? Studying alone can be a bore and unmotivational and it always helps that someone is keeping you on check. Besides, being socially active can help reduce stress from studying.
5. Work out
Assuming that when you study, you are just sitting in one spot or positiom, you may be feeling the yearn to move about. Go for a run or do some exercises at your place as being in one spot can be unhealthy for your body, mentally and physically.
