After months of anticipation, Khloe Kardashian is finally a mom! At around 4 am Thursday morning, the youngest Kardashian sister welcomed her first child into the world. The birth took place in Cleveland, Ohio where Khloe has been living with baby daddy and Cleveland Cavaliers player, Tristan Thompson. The birth of the baby girl, whose name has not yet been revealed, comes in the midst of a troublesome week for the couple.
Earlier in the week, TMZ broke the story that the Cavaliers star had been cheating on Khloe since October 2017. As reported by TMZ, “he was caught on video making out and motor boating 2 women at a hookah lounge outside of Washington, D.C.”. He was most recently caught red handed this past weekend in New York City taking a women back to his hotel room. Since information of Tristan’s unfaithfulness has been revealed, the basketball player has received, righteously so, a lot of hate. Even those who are not avid Kardashian fans can sympathize with Khloe, as she has certainly been through a lot the past few years in her previous relationship with Lamar Odom.
Before cuddling up with Khloe, Thompson was in a relationship with Jordan Craig, whom he left when she was 6 months pregnant with his child. There have been allegations that Thompson cheated on Jordan with Khloe, so unfortunately his continuous infidelity is no surprise. Because of this, many news outlets have labeled Thompson as a ‘serial cheater’.
Despite these recent tragic events, Tristan Thompson was in the delivery room when his daughter was born. Khloe’s family and loved ones were also there to help comfort her during such a sensitive time. While Khloe is devastated by Tristan’s actions, she felt it was important for her daughter to be born surrounded by both her mother and her father.
At this time, Khloe and Tristan’s relationship status remains unknown. Despite all the pain that Khloe has had to endure these past few days, she feels blessed to finally be a mother. In announcing the pregnancy in December 2017, she posted an Instagram with the caption:
“My greatest dream realized. We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times cannot believe our love created life! I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love! Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us ❤ Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life!”
The world’s heart is broken for Khloe, but we are so excited to welcome the newest Kardashian and we know that Khloe will be a wonderful mother. We love you, Khloe!
