How to Pack for Stagecoach!

It’s that time of year when people from all over make their pilgrimages to Indio for  weekends of almost endless concerts. For those who prefer country music, the main event is Stagecoach, a three day country music festival beginning on April 27. This year promises to be hot and crowded as Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley and many others will play for sold out crowds of country girls and cowboys. Deciding what to wear to Stagecoach takes longer waiting online to buy your ticket but Her Campus is here to help you out! Here are some essentials for your weekend!

Bikini: you can never have too many stars and stripes at Stagecoach! These will help you make the transition from flip cup game to concert while showing some American pride!

Boots: no country girl’s outfit would be complete without her pair of cowboy boots! Make sure to wear a pair that’s broken in so if you don’t have a pair yet try to search out a vintage pair! Don’t forget a backup pair of sandals in case its too hot for boots.

Our best bet:

Button Down Shirt: Bring a chambray or flannel shirt for the evenings when it will cool down so you won’t have to miss any Jason, Blake or Brad!

Madeline Hunt is a senior at UCLA majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish. Originally from the laidback beach-town of Santa Barbara, the California native finds the fast-paced nature and eccentricity of LA extremely exciting. Once more, she decided to expand her horizons when she studied abroad this past fall in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Madeline wants to pursue a career in the entertainment industry and is considering broadcast journalism and public relations as potential options. On campus, she is currently the Public Relations & Marketing Director for the student- run organization Fashion and Student Trends and an intern at E! News. She served as an entertainment reporter on UCLA’s accredited student newspaper, The Daily Bruin, under the video division and is a current member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. During her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, exercising, going to the beach, shopping (online shopping will be the death of her!), reading Glamour and Cosmo, eating Mexican food and sushi, spending time with her friends, practicing her Spanish, and satisfying her weakness for caffeine with Starbuck’s lattes.
