Coachella is one of the most popular music festivals of the year. It brings together a variety of music genres to enjoy three days of good music, good company, and good weather. Now offered on two weekends, more people can go and times convenient for them! This music festival is one of the most popular all year. It encompasses most types of music styles so almost anyone can find at least one artist over the course of the entire weekend that they like. It's an awesome way to bring people together through music and art. Tickets may be pricey but people usually buy them in advance and sell them if they can't go or what not. At UCLA we are fortunate to have a fantastic Career Center which works all year round to help Bruins discover their potential career paths. Next week is the highlight of the Careers Center’s calendar as Career Week kicks off, April 8-12. This is the week in which the Career Center invites students to engage with speakers from a wide variety of fields: from chemical engineering to the entertainment industry, from accounting to health careers in government and military, Careers Week brings us representatives from every hopeful career you can hope for or imagine. Whether you are an undeclared major or absolutely positive of the career path you want to take after graduation, Career Week has something important for you to hear....

    At the turn of the century, we all wanted to be at Aaron’s Party. Then in 2001, he shocked us all by “beating Shaq”. The 90s and early 2000s were all about boy bands and teen superstars. From posters, to t-shirts, to concerts being replayed on the Disney Channel, at one point we all had that childhood crush on Aaron Carter. "I Hate College but Love All the Parties..."

If you recognize the lyrics "I hate college but love all the parties," you should be excited to know that Sammy Adams is coming to LA next month! He will be performing at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on both the 5th and 6th of April. Tickets are approximately 40 dollars (can be purchased on Ticketmaster) and the doors open at 8:00 PM on both nights. I'll definitely be there so I hope to see some of you Bruinettes there!
