26 hours is a long time to do anything. Think about it, when was the last time you ran, slept, studied, or watched TV for 26 hours? Most likely, never. But for the past 10 years the Pediatric Aids Coalition at UCLA has inspired Bruins to DANCE for 26 hours straight. Each year, Dance Marathon changes the lives of children with pediatric AIDS and also the UCLA students, who participate in the fundraiser.
Call it a milestone year for the Pediatric AIDS Coalition–it was the 10th year of Dance Marathon and they raised a record $410, 530.68. Way to go BRUINS!! This money will go to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, One Heartland, Project Kindle, and the UCLA AIDS Institute. UCLA student-photographer Michael Drell was on scene at Ackerman Grand Ballroom taking in all of the action. Just looking at these pics will make you proud to be a Bruin!
