Sleep is hard to come by these days — and by these days I mean college midterm season. My friends frequently tell me about getting five hours of sleep or less between their dance practices, classes and social events.
If this is you:
Or this is you:

Then I can relate. However, Arianna Huffington, founder of the Huffington Post, is trying to revamp sleeping with her book “The Sleep Revolution.”
She offers 12 tips for a better night’s sleep, which I don’t need to tell you how desperately we need. I took special note of number 1 to keep your bedroom dark, quiet and cool (cough Los Angeles cough) as well as number 2 to avoid electronics before bed (cough Facebook cough).
The book discusses circadian rhythm, sleep disorders, caffeine addictions and dreaming, among other topics. She event sent Her Campus at UCLA a sleep kit full of goodies to help us rest up for midterms, including pajamas, speakers, a scented candle, portable sound machine and pillowcases. What more could a tired collegiette ask for?!
