1. At the very beginning of the year, there was excitement in the air. Everyone couldn’t wait for the beginning of football season.
2. And then we lost the first game by one point. Fans were stunned. Maybe it’s a fluke, we all thought.
3. Then we lost the next game…
4. Important players kept on getting injured…
5. We lost multiple games by a single point…
6. And we even lost to Furman University, a team that went 3-12 last year.
7. Some students drowned their sorrows by hitting up Knight Library or Pub…
8. Some students fell into a state of perpetual disappointment…
9. Meanwhile, George O’Leary remained one of the highest paid coaches in the AAC…
10. Now we are 0-9…
11. However, people are still having a great time. A local bar called Basement is giving out free beer until UCF wins.
12. George O’Leary “retired,” and its time for a new beginning for the Knights. Maybe with a little bit of luck, we can actually win one game this season (but don’t hold your breath…)
