How to be the Hostess with the Mostest on Your Friendsgiving!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCF chapter.

Thanksgiving is a time to remember what we thankful for. Show your friends that you care by giving them a night to remember with these tips!

DON’T STRESS

Stressing out will only make things worse. If you’re stressed out, it will make you’re friends feel guilty that you aren’t having a good time. It will upset you as well because you can’t have fun at the party you worked so hard to plan.

Pick a Theme and Get Crafty

Picking a theme is important because it makes planning a lot easier! Once you have your theme, ideas will come to you quicker because you will have something to build off of. Also, you don’t need to break the bank to decorate! Using DIY decor shows your friends that you care because you are willing to put the effort into making sure that everything looks perfect.

Let Your Friends Help You

There are many times where people plan parties and feel so much pressure to do everything themselves. Having your friends join in on the planning makes the whole process a lot more fun! One way to do this could be a potluck and it is fun for everyone because they get to try new things. Also, you could put someone in charge of music or decorating. It would make your friends feel special because they get to add their personal touches to the night!

Happy Friendsgiving from our chapter to yours!!
