Google Chromebook

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCF chapter.

Mark your calendars! For the first time ever, Google is making an appearance at our very own university. October 6 through October 9, each day from 10a.m. to 4p.m. you have a chance to rent the new Google Chromebook for free! Google is hosting this Fall 2014 Chromebook Lending Library to offer students hands-on access to the latest Chromebooks and give them the opportunity to take a device for a multi-day test run. Taylor Dante, UCF student and Google Chromebook Crew Member, shares her excitement for this event.

“I cannot wait to try out the Google Chromebook! I have only heard good things and seen photos of the product itself. It looks amazing.” said Taylor.

This laptop is supposedly super light and starts up in only seconds. Not to mention, the price is super friendly for college students, being under $200. Be the judge of these new Chromebooks by visiting their library by the Recreation Center/gym on campus during the event times. They brought a little over 300 Chromebooks, so first come first serve! All you need to bring is a valid ID and credit/debit card. So, come out, get Googley, and learn more about the Google Chromebook!
