1. The Artist is Present

Marina Abramovic is an amazingly talented artist. This is a must-watch about the “godmother of performance art,” who you may know from her collaboration with Lady Gaga and Jay-Z. She reflects on her nearly 40-year career at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

2. Hot Girls Wanted

 

This documentary is not for everyone, but it’s definitely an eye-opener. It delves into the pornography industry, and proves to the world that nothing is as it seems. 

3. Living on One Dollar

Think it’s possible to live on just one dollar a day? Four college students try to do just that for two months in rural Guatemala. 

4. Somm

Have you ever heard of a “sommelier?” Dive into the complicated world of wine where four candidates try to pass the Master Sommelier examination. It’s one of the most difficult tests in the world. 

5. Blackfish

Discover what it’s like to be an orca in captivity. This documentary reveals how animal abuse at water parks has resulted in a public outcry. Upon its release, SeaWorld announced that it would end its famous Shamu shows.
