Midterms. Check. In less than five weeks, finals. That’s the quarter system in a nutshell. I heard from several students that they have exams within the second or third week of classes. So, I decided to create a list of places to study.

PC: Langson Library

  1. Langson library

Yes, I’m being bias. Since I’m a student in the school of social sciences, home to me are Social Science Tower, Social Science Lab, Social Science Lecture Hall, Social Science Plaza A and B. So, Langson Library is closest to my home.

Here’s a tip: if you want to reserve a room during midterms or finals make sure to do it a week in advance.

PC: UCI Starbucks

  1. Starbucks

When the weather is nice and sunny outside, many students like to study outside of Starbucks. It’s convenient for those moments you need to refill on your dose of caffeine.

PC: UCI CSL

  1. Courtyard Study Lounge

Studying outdoors is very nice. That’s all I got to say. If you do not want to study outside you can go inside the student center and study.

PC: Aldrich Park

  1. Aldrich park

Take advantage that UCI has a big, beautiful and green park in the middle of campus.

PS: Whenever you have huge gaps between your classes use your time wisely by catching up on your readings. Study instead of scrolling through your Facebook page!

Good luck with midterms and prepping for finals!
