What is your dream job and where do you see yourself in five years?
My dream job would involve me getting paid for exploring the world, eating delicious food, and sharing about it via journalism or film! But realistically, I see myself in graduate school, most likely pursuing a path in either education administration or education policy.
Do you have any particular hobbies?
I really enjoy cooking and baking, but not as much as I love break-dancing. I also like to make short films and take pictures.
What kind of music do you listen to?
I listen to anything that sounds good, but to be more specific I listen to rap, R&B, pop, alternative rock, and instrumental covers. I love blasting my music too, which is unfortunate for my neighbors, haha.
What is your proudest moment?
I would say one of my proudest moments was hearing my parents tell me that they were proud of me the end of my freshman year. I’m not sure why, but maybe it’s because Chinese parents don’t normally say those things (Shout out to Mama & Papa Chun).
Who is your role model?
I have many, but one of them is Martin Luther King Junior. He stood up for what was just despite the pressure of social norms and I know that is something I want to replicate.
What do you look for in a potential partner?
Most of my friends tell me that I’m too picky, so to keep this short: I look for a girl who is honest, intelligent, loving, supportive, open-minded, and of course, super attractive!
Describe your ideal date.
My ideal date would involve nice scenery, pictures, food, music, laughter, and more food.
What is your natural habitat?
Well, I’m ambivert, which is exactly what it sounds like—someone who’s got qualities of an introvert and an extrovert! My natural habitat is based on how I feel. Some days I may feel like being out and about while other days I just want to curl up into a ball and sleep all day. Although people do energize me and make me feel “some type of way,” I still need my alone time to recharge, so imagine a fox that likes to pounce around when it’s out of its den, but always needs to go back home to sleep (laughs).
How would you want others to describe you (in three words)?
Imaginative, curious, and candid.
