Rallyin’ it up, Berkeley style

Sophia is currently a fourth year at UC Berkeley with a major in Public Health and a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. After taking a variety of classes throughout her time at UC Berkeley, Sophia discovered her passion for the more specific infectious diseases aspect of public health as well as food insecurity for her minor. Various activities during her time here at UC Berkeley have included Peer Health Exchange and interning at City Slicker Farms, which entailed urban farming in West Oakland. Sophia enjoys photographing in her spare time and so is the official photographer for the UC Berkeley branch of HerCampus. Her other interests include music, hiking, and trying out the vast and diverse food scene here in Berkeley. However, without a doubt, sitting on the grass on campus on a warm, sunny afternoon is definitely her favorite thing to do.
