3 Classy Spring Trends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UC Berkeley chapter.

1. Black and White Stripes

Black and white never goes out of style. Whether it’s on a dress, a clutch, pants, or socks, it’s a trend that is both classy and timeless. Many designers during fashion week in both New York and Paris used the print in there distinctive designs. For spring, black and white stripes are classy look for any event.

2. Tea Length Skirts

What is classier than a tea length skirt, nothing. This spring forget the miniskirt and shorts and go long. Tea length skirts rocked all the runways this Fashion Week and we are in love. Designers from Alice + Olivia, Tracey Reese, and Oscar de la Renta showcased the elegant look with crop tops and beautiful strappy heels. This look will definitely take you back to the 1950s.

3. Lavender

Lavender screams spring and freshness and is a trend that is chic and beautiful. Obvioulsy, pastels are always “in” for spring but lavender is a color that is just so young and vibrant. You can pair your lavender outfit with both light and dark colors while still keeping it classy.
