We’re Just Being Honest: A Product Review for the Girls going Natural!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UAB chapter.

I am a firm believer that every girl needs that staple product that she knows will give her the perfect twist-out, braid-out, bantu knot-out or whatever style she desires! For me, Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie has been my A1 since day 1! For the three years I’ve been natural, I’ve used this on almost every single style I do on my hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized. The smell is a light, airy scent that I really don’t know how to describe, but it smells delicious.

When I use the product, I normally use it on damp hair. I apply some type of light oil such as coconut oil or olive oil, and then the product. I twist or braid my hair and then tie it with a silk scarf! The next day my hair is left with a perfect twist or braid out. Check out some of the tutorials of natural girls using Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie!
