HC: Who/What inspires your style?

AD: I guess I can classify my style as being high-street/chic. My fashion icon has to be Olivia Palermo. She is the epitome of class with a bit of an edge too. I am also a sucker for Elie Saab Haute Couture designs. They make my heart skip beats.

HC: What do you like to do for fun?

AD: I love to travel. But as far as my weekend goes in this oh so boring city, I typically spend a lot of time in the Hot Yoga room, especially now since I’m undergoing teacher training. I also do the typical thing of hanging out with friends at social events. When I’m not crammed with exams, I love trips to ATL for some shopping sprees.

HC: 3 Current Obsessions

AD:

  1. French Macarons. These cookies are the way to my heart.
  2. The show “Once Upon A Time.” I am obsessed with anything and everything that is in relation to Disney, so the fact that this TV show brings Disney fairytales to life just makes me so incredibly happy.
  3. Candles! I love the aroma of candles during this time of the year.

HC: Fave Winter Trends

AD: FURjackets, shawls, scarves, hats, about all of it. I have probably bought 5 fur coats in the past two months, just because. No it’s not cold enough down here in the South, but I’m definitely guilty of making my own exceptions for fashion statements. Also, bold lips. The wintertime is the best time to be able to wear all those deep, dark shades of reds, purples, browns, etc. It’s been a trend for a while, but it’s one of my all time favorites. Also, chic knee high boots are a must. They make any outfit during the winter. Last but not least, ponchos/capes are one of my favorite items to put on in the winter. They’re so easy to wear, yet so cute.

HC: Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?

AD: In 10 years, I hope to see myself as a successful orthopedic surgeon with a family I adore. I will own a Maserati, and I hope to have traveled to more than half of my bucket list of countries. I also aspire to have my own yoga studio on the side.
