This Friday Her Campus UAB will be joining BWOMEN of UAB in collecting donations for students at Jacksonville State University (JSU). Classes at JSU resumed this week for the first time since a tornado struck the campus on March 19. The tornado left buildings and dorms bare, leaving students belongings ruined and in disarray. According to AL.com, the tornado damaged 23 buildings and impacted over 50 others, but thankfully no one was injured because the students were on spring break.

Students were forced to relocate and many of them lost all of the basic necessities. BWOMEN and Her Campus UAB have come together to collect clothing and toiletries for students who may be in need as they finish off the semester.

If you have any gently worn clothing, extra toiletries or hygiene products drop them off at our table in the Hill Student Center on Friday, April 13 from 12:30 p.m. -4 p.m. For any questions contact rashaun15@uab.edu
