Brick and Tin

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UAB chapter.

Brick & Tin is easily one of my favorite lunch spots in Birmingham. First of all, the building is in the heart of southside and has a rustic brick front. I love brick buildings, so that’s how the restaurant enticed me from the beginning. I looked at the lunch menu, and the sandwiches had luxe ingredients like roasted butternut squash, arugula, and proscuitto. This was no Subway. I went with the “Spring Chicken” (Did I mention they are witty, too?), couscous, and chilled pea soup with mint. It may sound a little out there, but it was fabulous and left me feeling satisfied. For more info, check out Brick & Tin’s website here.
