When I opened the Survival Kit and saw a huge stack of Rich Bitch by Nicole Lapin, I had to chuckle at how applicable it seemed to be to Penn life. The book caters directly to smart young women who want to be able to manage their own money–no husband/significant other/ANYONE ELSE required. As the inside cover says: “Talking about money sucks–but so does being broke.” A valid point. Whether you are the finance type or not, you should definitely consider giving this book a read for its fresh spin on financial wisdom and focusing on investing in yourself.
Um…YES. Anything that combines the words “free” and “Chipotle” automatically makes us throw up our praise hands. Chipotle has graciously given us a plentiful amount of Buy One, Get One cards–for, wait for it–basically everything (i.e., burrito, burrito bowl, salad, or order of taco). We must agree that life is very burritoful.
