Study Break: Fall TV Preview

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Penn chapter.

Midterms on the horizon means two things: the dreaded, long study sessions and the far too few, fun study breaks. Focusing on the latter, I’m here to introduce you to this fall’s most highly anticipated television shows that will certainly make your short study breaks worthwhile.

Here are two reasons to give each of the fall’s hottest new shows a chance. Take your pick:

1. Chicago Med- NBC
Because you’ve already all caught up with Grey’s Anatomy or because there simply can never be too many medical dramas.

2. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- The CW
Because the CW somehow makes absurd plots actually enjoyable and entertaining or because we all need that one show that makes us feel less-crazy.

3. Fear The Walking Dead- AMC
Because it’s the prequel of one of the greatest and most acclaimed zombie apocalypse series or because it reminds us, once a week, right when we need it, that things could always be worse.

4. Quantico- ABC
Because its being nicknamed “How to Get Away With Terrorism” or because all the male leads are simply delicious and eye candy like that is enough to watch any show on its own.

5. Heroes Reborn- NBC
Because its the revival of one of best shows we grew up with or because its rooted in the idea that completely “ordinary” people are superheroes in their own right, and an uplifting message like that shouldn’t be ignored.
