You would think by college most of us would have this dating thing down to a tee. The truth is most of us are just as confused as when we first realized boys and/or girls were actually cute. Despite our years of obvious maturity the basics of dating hasn’t changed much since puberty. Here’s why:
1. Boys still have cooties.
2. We pretend we don’t like someone… and then secretly obsess over them.
3. We still don’t know how to talk about our feelings.
4. And no one knows when/if/how to make the first move.
5. Those butterflies won’t go away no matter how old we get.
6. We still resist the urge to giggle whenever naked body parts are mentioned.
7. Hair pulling goes from annoying to sexy.
8. No one has a clue what is considered a “good” date.
9. And lastly, commitment is still scary AF.
It seems that age doesn’t come with wisdom…at least when it comes to dating. Good luck collegiettes; the dating world can be brutal!
