We have so many things that we should be grateful for in our lives. Some of us don’t even know how lucky we are. Indeed, we have our share of bad days, but we have so many blessings. Don’t forget to count them and remember to be thankful. With Thanksgiving around the corner, we asked what some students were thankful for, and here are their responses:

“I am thankful that I’m lucky enough to wake up every morning healthy and with a roof over my head, as I know that not everyone has that chance.” Lori-Ann Thibault

“I am thankful for friends who stay up with you for support when you have to stay up late to finish assignments or to study.” Rebecca Visser

“I am thankful for having a great family, my friends and good health.” Soumi Gosh

“I am thankful for all the amazing people in my life who have given me the best experiences possible, and have been by my side through everything.” Beth Stevenson

“I am thankful for this long weekend – it’s about time.” Emma Ritcher

“I am thankful that I’m not alone for Thanksgiving.” Alixe Menard

“I am thankful for my family, my friends and my boyfriend.” Magmiche Simon

“I am thankful for my girlfriend.” Allen Peter

“I am thankful for my access to education.” Orphane Beaulière

“I am thankful for bus drivers who see you running and keep the doors open for you to get on.” Emily Sams

“I am thankful for my supportive family, my awesome friends, my good health, the beauty of nature, the sound of music, the art of literature, for our safe country, and for having food on the table. I’m thankful for life!”  Marisa Leclerc

“I am thankful for life, cats, sleep, books and friends.” Arianne Millette

“I am thankful for God. He comforts me at all times, and ensures that I am loved and taken care of. My connection to Him has helped me so much this year. Also, I am thankful for my life every single day that I wake up. I am thankful for the friends and family that I live life with.” Lila Ibrahim

“I am thankful for my family who are safe in Haiti. Everyone is doing okay.” Gloria C-P

“I am thankful to be alive”. Shakila Reaz

“I am thankful for people who tells me when there’s stuff in my teeth.” Julia Jean-Baptiste

I am thankful to be alive, to have God in my life, to be able to learn and grow from my past experiences and mistake. I am thankful to the people whom I have in my life. I am thankful to be myself.” Jimmy Auguste
